I got my start in the paranormal field back in 2002 with a trip with some friends to a famous haunted location here in Ohio, and on that trip I brought a handy flashlight, a 8mm camcorder and a 35mm camera along with a wonder of what may be in store for me on that day. Now I can't really say that first venture in trying to see a ghost was fulfilled, but it was a time I will never forget, something within me just clicked and I was hooked, not so much about whether or not I'd see a ghost, but by the sense of adventure and this fear of just not knowing what may be around the next corner.

Since that day I have taken many road trips all around the state of Ohio, and even to West Virginia in search of evidence of hauntings . I have spent some hard earned dollars trying to better my equipment to take along with me, and have also tried some of my own techniques to document paranormal activity.

 I'm not a sensitive or psychic, I rely on what my normal senses tell me is going on around me, but I have on occasion got a feeling of unease or just wanting to leave a certain area, and just like most I do sometimes see things out of the corner of my eye. I am very skeptical in nature and try and rule out as much of a haunting as possible, I rely heavily on the facts at hand. I have yet to witness a full apparition or seen a shadow person straight on, but I have had things thrown at me by an invisible force, and have heard sounds that seem to come from an unknown source. I'm not a big fan of the ORB phenomenon, most of the time I consider it particles in the air in front of the lens that are brightened by the camera's flash. Couple of reasons for this is ORB's can be photographed anywhere at anytime, haunted or not, and since ORB's should for the most part be a three dimensional object, you never see one cut in half by a door frame, or hiding behind a piece of furniture they always seem to be in front of everything in frame.

 Over the course of the last 5 years or so I have joined like minded people that were in search of lost souls and first joined Research and Investigation of the Paranormal in 2004 and with this team of people I learned much of what I know and use today. In late 2007 me and four others formed SIGHT with a two step purpose, one to gather evidence of hauntings, and the other to show those lost souls on the other side that there is a better place that they can go to.

But whenever someone is being troubled by a creepy sound in the night, or the feeling that they're just not alone in an empty house, I will do the best I can to help get them some answers.
